Fabilicious Kitchen

I’ve fallen in love …. with this gorgeous kitchen and words escape me (but not for long).

What makes this kitchen so appealing?  Is it the sharp, crisp brightness of the use of white, the old fashioned radiator, the beautiful fireplace surround with exposed bricks, the wooden countertops, the connection of the blue fridge and blue door with other subtle connecting colours of blues and reds in the books and home accessories that pulls the look together so cleverly. This is such a fab kitchen where I think I would want to spend my days baking and baking and not wanting to leave this oh so beautiful space.

You are so right. This sweet kitchen just begs to be baked in. I love the idea of a fireplace in the kitchen. Such a welcoming room. I’m falling more and more in love with the idea of a white kitchen.

  2. The yvestown style is so distinctive, isn’t it? You’d think it would be so easy – just prettiness and orderliness, but she seems to have an additional magic touch.

  3. OMG! Thankyou for sharing these inspiring pics. I’ts the blue fridge and door that gets me at first glance with all that white – my favourite. Has a swedish feel to it too doesn’t it with the wooden countertops. Oh and the inclusion of vintage items – just gorgeous! as is the loo – I want to go and wallpaper mine now – Oh Joy!

  4. @Kalanicut – white kitchens really can look great if they are complimented with the right style and colour accessories
@PFW – came across Yvonne’s blog yesterday and she sure does have a distinctive style that just pulls you in.
@Michelle – Oh yes that loo – thats another blog post in its own right – fab, eh.

    Hi Joanne,
Just came over from gimmetherecipe for a gawk and now that I’m here will be very hard to tear myself away! Everything is gorgeous. Do you stock any tea towels? Us food bloggers are always on the prowl for props and background materials like place mats etc. Thanks, Sheila

  6. Oh thank you Sheila :)) We don’t have any tea towels but will have some tableware (with a little vintage twist that I’ve designed) coming in in about 2 months. If you’d like to join us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/eBoutique.ie) or subscribe to our newsletter on the website (http://www.eboutique.ie/) we’ll keep you posted on when our new goodies come in. We do have some really fab quilted floral aprons though. Really enjoy reading your blog – especially yesterday’s post – it made me laugh so much.
