Dishy Dining

Do you find that your dining table & chairs take up quite a bit of space in a room?  Quite often it ends up being a purely functional space for eating at or doing homework on and we sometimes neglect it just a little bit.  So how about beautifying it (if thats a word) and giving it a little mini makeover.  Here’s some of my favourite pics (except No.1) via Livingetc on how you can achieve that dining table/chair makeover.  The first image though is a little red herring and I thought it would be interesting to compare its minimal and empty feeling to the others. Its amazing the different effect that you can achieve with some gorgeous home accessories like different sized vases with a bright bunch of flowers, a cluster of candles or some seat cushions.

Minimal - Empty

Quirky - Fun - Casual

Light filled - Casual

This has a real romantic feel to it

Classic - Elegant and a hint of charm

Pretty - Laid-back

Casual - Romantic

Sweet - Casual - Fun

View - To Die For
