Accessorise with Pictures & Paintings

Do your walls/side tables look a little bare?  Inject your style into a room by accessorising it with some pictures or paintings – its a great way to decorate and inject colour or  a specific style (e.g. country cottage or contemporary look) into your home.  Try experimenting – select a big, bold painting that will make a statement  piece or try a grouping combination by using a selection of pictures in different sizes, shapes and frames.  Pictures don’t just look good on the wall but can also compliment a lamp, vase, candle holders on a side table, a mantlepiece or on a book shelf.

Great photos. The pictures really do make a huge difference.

  2. Thanks Rita. It really is amazing how a few strategically placed pictures can lift a blank wall or be a focal point on a side table.

These are a great group of images. I’m a big fan of photo walls and the staircase above is my absolute ideal – there’s quite a lot going on but without any fuss. I’m subscribing to your blog and look forward to reading your posts, Kind Regards, Sarah

  4. Thanks Sarah and welcome. The staircase really is very beautiful and adding a collection of different sized pictures is a great way of bringing some pazazz to a wall.

  5. Great photography, very inspiring
